Lemon juice, vinegar, and even tomato juice will help lighten the green tint from swimming-pool hair. Wearing a hat once you leave the pool protects your hair from further bleaching (aka making the hair more straw like and more of a neon green shade) as well as protecting faces and scalps from harmful UV rays.
