MEET SALLY

Sally has worked for DSA Dermatology since 2007. You may know her from checking in, checking out, making appointments or needing a manager to help assist you at our office. She has worn many hats at DSA Dermatolgy over the years but is currently the lead front office person and receptionist.

Sally grew up in Michigan, but has been in Texas all her adult life. When not at work she loves spending time with her family and grandchildren, taking long walks and is an avid reader. You will find that Sally almost knows the answer to anything that you may ask about the office. She has an almost photographic memory for all patients when they show up even if they have not been seen in quite a while. We are fortunate to be able to rely on her memory and find it superior to the computer sometimes! You will find Sally friendly, helpful, professional and always willing to go the extra mile for everyone at DSA Dermatology.

MEET KERISSA

Kerissa is also one of our newer medical nursing assistants joining us in 2020. You will recognize her as one of the medical personnel that brings you into see the Doctor. She also hails from Michigan but has made Texas her home. Her family was involved in both Ministry and social work and this has helped provide her with a great sense of compassion, interpersonal skills as well as a respectful communication etiquette. She has a well versed background in both Dermatology and Family Medicine.

When not working Kerissa enjoys spending time with her daughter, music, painting, roller skating and volunteering at her church. You will find Kerissa someone who takes her patient’s care very seriously, yet is friendly, upbeat and has a great sense of optimism and humor. At DSA Dermatology you will find Kerissa likes to try to bring a smile to someone’s day-no matter their circumstance!

MEET KATHY

Kathy has been at DSA Dermatology for over 5 years. She is the lead nursing assistant on our staff and helps manage general office functions and patient’s concerns. You will likely speak to her about medications, or medical problems or she may check you into the Doctor’s rooms and take your medical history and reason for seeing the Doctor. Kathy may also be your point of contact for solving other concerns you need assistance with. Kathy has been working in Dermatology for over 20 years and it is her passion. Kathy calls herself an “air force brat’ and moved all over the US as she grew up. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her friends and family, having fun air boating, and cheering on the Auburn football team! Kathy prides herself on treating patients the way she would like to be treated. You will find Kathy full of energy, competent, caring and a great problem solver at DSA Dermatology.

MEET MARILOU

Marilou is also a newer member of our staff, joining us in 2020. You will likely speak with her on the phone, or see her as you check out. She joins our staff with more than 20 years of front office medical experience. As a Pennsylvania native she is a BIG Pittsburg Penguin fan, and never misses a game! In Marilou’s spare time she enjoys her family, yard work and remodeling projects. Marilou is pleased to be seeing many familiar patient's faces from her previous Dallas office and they are happy to find her again too! You will find Marilou is a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and calm presence at DSA Dermatology.
