Carmine McConnell, M.D.

Dr. Carmine G. McConnell is a board-certified physician, proudly serving residents of Plano, TX, and surrounding areas. She is known for her comprehensive approach, compassionate manner, and exceptional skills. She has extensive experience in both family medicine and cosmetic dermatological techniques.

Dr. McConnell obtained her training at the McMaster University (Faculty of Health Sciences) University of Toronto, Canada. She went on to earn board certification in Texas. She served as the Chief of Staff of her department at Plano Medical Center. She has practiced medicine for more than 20 years, both in her own practice as well as assisting Dr. Achtman in the practice of dermatology.

Dr. McConnell has completed extensive postgraduate training, including laser therapy and aesthetic surgery. She has trained with the Department of Plastic Surgery at UTSW (University of Texas Southwestern) Medical Center in Dallas, TX, the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology & Aesthetic Surgery in Las Vegas, and the American Academy of Dermatology in Washington, D.C.

Dr. McConnell provides a wide variety of non-surgical options to help patients improve the health and appearance of their skin. Her areas of expertise include cosmetic lasers and skin care products.
