Wow!!! I randomly looked up a dermatologist in my area for a small procedure I needed done and I will say I could not be happier with this team!!!! EVERYONE in the office is just so friendly and welcoming. The Doctor was super super nice and explained everything in detail that was easily understandable and even had suggestions on how to keep costs down. The nurse I had was WONDERFUL!!! Just an all around perfect experience and I highly highly suggest this office to anyone in the West Plano area. Great example of good culture in an office. Loved my visit!

FDA GUIDELINES IN A NUTSHELL

Buy a BROAD SPECTRUM sunscreen, meaning it must protect you from both UVA and UVB rays. Buy at least a 15 SPF. Most doctors would disagree with this and say you need a 30 SPF, but remember that going up to a 50 or even a 100 doesn’t really make any difference.  No sunscreen can … Continue reading FDA GUIDELINES IN A NUTSHELL

YOU ARE ADVISING ME TO DO WHAT….YOU MUST BE KIDDING??

(American Academy of Dermatology, Chicago Tribune 7/11). Skin cancer of the scalp is not common, but because hair can obscure it from diagnosis, it can become more advanced. The AAD has advised that there are sunscreen agents formulated for the scalp (YUCK! THINK MOST PEOPLE WOULD OBJECT TO PUTTING EXTRA PRODUCTS INTO FRESHLY COIFFED HAIR), … Continue reading YOU ARE ADVISING ME TO DO WHAT….YOU MUST BE KIDDING??
